MattK1 is a rancher in Oak Creek, Colorado, MattK1 started trading by investing in Apple right after the first generation iPod was released. When the day is turning out how he expects and he is in sync with the price action, MattK1 maximizes his strengths by adding more size. He will also give the market more room to run on those days. If he’s having a tough day, MattK1 will decrease position size, stop trading, and walk away. He makes sure he is in the perfect mindset before ever making a trade.
To prepare for the trading day, MattK1 listens to CNBC and Fox Business for anything that may affect the day. He looks at econoday for any major reports, and pulls up his charts to look at volume profile and “good old-fashioned technical analysis.” He marks off the major levels of his charts like technical analysis zones, pivots, settlement, and value areas. Then he brings up his Jigsaw DOM and footprints.
