Flipper started trading stocks in 1995. He moved from stocks to options, made the transition to futures in 2005, and eventually found his home trading treasury futures in 2007. He is a short term scalper and directional trader. He uses pivot points, simple moving averages, and volume weighted average prices. He also pays extreme attention to his levels of support and resistance.
Flipper wants to be consistently profitable as a trader and continue to grow the products he uses and his account. He hopes that in the future he can teach and coach aspiring traders. Flipper has a high degree of situation awareness. He knows how he is feeling, and he bases decisions off his intuition. He always attempts to be cognizant of his weakness zones and stay away from danger zones. He believes that stepping back is always a good thing and leads to perspective. Flipper tries to start off the day by being patient and self controlled. He stays away from fear, greed, anxiety, and impatience. He reminds himself that the markets will always be there, along with opportunity.
